West Chester University’s Center for International Programs (CIP) is proud to offer students the opportunity to apply for the CIP Study Abroad Travel Awards each year. Awards ranging in the amount of $200-$750 (short-term programs) or $500-$1,250 (semester-long or full-year programs) will be given to selected students participating in approved study abroad programs. West Chester University’s Strategic Plan, Building on Excellence, has made the objective to increase the international educational opportunities for students a top priority.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be a West Chester University degree-seeking student.
• Must be participating on either a WCU faculty/staff-led program, WCU Exchange program, or pre-approved affiliated partner program.
• Preference will be given to students participating on credit-bearing programs.
• Preference will be given to students demonstrating high financial need.
• Preference will be given to students who have not previously received the Study Abroad Travel Award.

You will use your regular WCU login credentials to log into the system and view the application checklist. All items in the application checklist must be completed prior to the application deadline for consideration of the application.
