On our Semester in Newcastle – University of Newcastle program, study at an excellent university with a stunning, ecologically sustainable campus, and experience the true Aussie lifestyle, complete with local Aussie friends. Fondly referred to as Newy, Newcastle is a port city located in New South Wales, home to roughly 400,000 people. With a beautiful trail to Nobby's Lighthouse, Newy hosts a superb mixture of beaches, historical architecture, and a diverse arts scene, which makes its charm even more apparent.
