Summer in South Africa
See ostriches and visit a colony of beach penguins on our Summer in South Africa program. Ideally situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Stellenbosh University is nestled in a valley flanked by mountains on all sides. Climb up Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the oak-lined streets and the chic bars and cafes of this college town on the outskirts of a cosmopolitan city. Field trips, hands-on community service projects, and expert guest lectures make this a once-in-a-lifetime summer opportunity. Your program includes hands-on courses and guest lecturers. Our program provides you the unique opportunity to study the history and the current issues of South Africa today. Those with an adventurous side can also find opportunities to go on a safari, surf, sandboard, and ride horses on the beach.
