Program Description:
Come study with us during Summer Session II in 2017 at St. Mark and St. John University in Plymouth, England. Students will have the option of taking either EDA 175 (pre-requisite EDA 103 or KIN 204 and 205) or EDA 321 (pre-requisites EDA 103 and EDA 203). You will spend the first week of class at WCU. The second and third weeks of the course will be spent living on the campus in student housing at St. Mark and St. John’s University while completing field experiences in local English schools for children with special needs. Note: EDA 175 is a three-week course and EDA 321 is a four- week course.

All participants will be registered for either EDA 175 or EDA 321 (students may not register for both).

Mayflower Steps, Plymouth  
Fishing villages along the coast 
Gin Distillery, Fisherman’s Rest, Burgh Island, Barbican 
King Arthur’s Court, Tintagel, Cornwall               
 Dartmoor National Park 
2-night excursion to London also included in the cost.
The program fee for this program is $1,450.00 plus the cost of summer school tuition (either 3 credit or 6 credit depending on course selection). The program fee includes all in-country transportation, housing for the duration of the program, and all program excursions, including the trip to London. In addition, all participants will be billed the $100 study abroad application fee through the WCU Bursar's office when they apply and will be required to purchase the mandatory WCU international insurance upon acceptance into the program (approximately $25-45).

Not included in the program fees above are the round-trip airline ticket to England (approximately $1,600) and meals (students will have cooking accommodations in their housing).
