Program Type: Scholarship
Program Description:
The James McErlane Scholarship supports students with evidence of high academic performance, demonstrated financial need, and academic purpose of studying abroad. 

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Must be a West Chester University degree-seeking student.
  • Must have a 2.5 or higher GPA
  • Preference will be given to students demonstrating financial need, though all students meeting the other eligibility requirements listed above are encouraged to submit applications, regardless of financial need.
  • Preference will be given to students participating on credit-bearing programs.
  • Preference will be given to students who have not previously received the McErlane Study Abroad Scholarship
To apply, click the APPLY NOW button and follow the steps to create an application for the term of your study abroad program. You will use your regular WCU login credentials to log into the system and view the application checklist. All items in the application checklist must be completed prior to the application deadline for consideration of the application.
